Prince Souphanouvong

Prince Souphanouvong was born on July 13, 1909 in Luang Prabang, Laos. At the age of seven he went ot a local primary school. Then by the 1920s he was studying at Lycee Albert Sarraut in Hanoi, Vietnam. When he returned to laos he was assigned by french colonial authorites to Nha Trang,Vietnam. There he was heavily influenced by his Vietminh friends and slowly began to fall completly under their control.
